We would like to invite you to the third International Congress on 3D Printing(Additive Manufacturing) Technologies and Digital Industry (3D-PTC2018) which will take place from 19 to 21 April 2018 at Antalya, Turkey.
The aim of the congress is to bring together universities, industrial organizations, and public institutions from different countries, and to discuss theoretical and practical issues in the fields of 3D printing(Additive Manufacturing) technologies and digital industry. Your prospective, valuable contributions on this field will be evaluated by the scientific committee and the ones approved to be presented will also be published in the conference abstract book. “All accepted papers will be published in supporting journals”
3D Printing(Additive Manufacturing) Technologies and Digital Industry encourages multidisciplinary engineering, medical, dental and practioners. Evren Arın received his BSc degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from İstanbul Technical University and his Master of Science degree from Boğaziçi University in 1993 and 1998 respectively. He started his career in the Film-Television industry by working as a manager, designer and lecturer in the digital media field for seven years. Between 2000-2006 Evren Arın worked at Siemens as a systems engineer and technical sales manager in the Information & Communication Networks division. Then he joined Adobe Systems where he held various business development and sales management positions for six years. Since 2013 he has been working at Autodesk as the Education Manager responsible from Turkey, Middle East and Africa region.

Ola Harrysson joined the ISE department in January of 2002 and is teaching courses related to product development, manufacturing processes, additive manufacturing and biomodeling. Most of his research involves additive manufacturing, specifically the medical applications. Dr. Harrysson is in charge of the Additive Manufacturing Laboratory (AML) in the ISE department which houses the first Electron Beam Melting (EBM) machine in the world. AML is currently involved in both aerospace and medical related research as well as providing faculty and students with prototyping services. Most of the aerospace related research involves process and material development for the EBM systems while the medical research is concentrated on custom design and direct metal fabrication of novel implants. Dr. Harrysson has been working for over 10 years with his colleague, Denis Marcellin-Little, who is an orthopedic surgeon at the College of Veterinary Medicine, developing new and innovative implant solutions. The two have pioneered the area of Transdermal Osseointegrated Prosthetics, which is a type of a prosthetic limb that is directly attached to the bone in the stump instead of using an external socket.

Okyay Kaynak received the B.Sc. degree with first class honors and Ph.D. degrees in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK, in 1969 and 1972 respectively. From 1972 to 1979, he held various positions within the industry. In 1979, he joined the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey, where he is presently an Emeritus Professor, holding the UNESCO Chair on Mechatronics. He has hold long-term (near to or more than a year) Visiting Professor/Scholar positions at various institutions in Japan, Germany, U.S., Singapore and China. His current research interests are in the fields of intelligent control and mechatronics. He has authored three books and edited five and authored or coauthored more than 400 papers that have appeared in various journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Kaynak is a fellow of IEEE. He is or has served on the Editorial or Advisory Boards of a number of scholarly journals. In the near past, he served as the Editor in Chief of IEE Trans. on Industrial Informatics and IEEE/ASME Trans. on Mechatronics as well as Co- Editor in Chief of IEEE Trans. on Industrial Electronics. Dr. Kaynak is active in international organizations, has served on many committees of IEEE and was the president of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society during 2002-2003. He received IEEE Third Millennium Medal (2001), IEEE/IES Anthony J. Hornfeck Service Award (2005) and IEEE/IES Dr.-Ing. Eugene Mittelman Achievement Award (2011). Most recently, he received the China Friendship Award (2016) and Humboldt Research Prize (2016).

Innovative Additive Manufacturing Technologies
Research Group Leader CSIRO Manufacturing
Stefan has over 30 years of research experience in materials research and technology development at CSIRO and Defence Science Technology Organisation (DSTO). Currently a Research Group Leader at the CSIRO High Performance Metal Industries Program involved in strategic and applied research in Cold spray, Powder Manipulation and Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies. While working at CSIRO he has developed a wide range of industrial coatings and AM technologies, which have delivered real benefits to the Australian and international industries, resulting in a number of scientific contributions and innovations, as evidenced by his extensive publication and patent list. The most successful are directed towards the manufacturing aerospace, bio-medical, defence, die-casting, printing, powder and metal processing industries. He co-pioneered Cold spray and EBM AM technology in the Southern Hemisphere and continues to develop new research fields in direct powder manipulation and Cold spray Additive Manufacturing technology. Extensive commercialisation and licencing experience with national and international companies and helps develop technologies through to IPO, including the development of a bio-medical manufacturing company at CSIRO.
