Dear Colleague:
We would like to invite you to the sixth International Congress on 3D Printing(Additive Manufacturing) Technologies and Digital Industry (3D-PTC2022) which will take place from 22 to 23 November 2022 in Bucharest, ROMANIA.
The aim of the congress is to bring together universities, industrial organizations, and public institutions from different countries, and to discuss theoretical and practical issues in the fields of 3D printing(Additive Manufacturing) technologies and digital industry. Your prospective, valuable contributions on this field will be evaluated by the scientific committee and the ones approved to be presented will also be published in the conference abstract e-book. “All accepted papers will be published in supporting journals”
3D Printing(Additive Manufacturing) Technologies and Digital Industry encourages multidisciplinary engineering, medical, dental and practioners. Academics and professionals to identify the challenges and discuss solutions for 3D printing technologies and digital industry welcome scientific and practical contributions from different disciplines and fields.
We are very pleased to invite you to the fifth International Congress on 3D Printing(Additive Manufacturing) Technologies and Digital Industry (3D-PTC2022) Congress.
Wish to see you all.

Digital twins in Manufacturing
Faculty of Science & Engineering at Anglia Ruskin University
Dr Javaid But is a specialist in the fields of Additive Manufacturing and Industry 4.0. He is working as an Associate Professor of Digital Manufacturing in the Faculty of Science & Engineering at Anglia Ruskin University. Dr Butt has won over £5.8 million in the past 5 years from different funding sources (including Innovate UK, Erasmus+, Interreg North Sea Region, KTP, KEEP+). Majority of his work is with industrial collaborators where he has successfully delivered projects of commercial value. His research work helped him in winning the Vice Chancellor’s Award in the Outstanding Research and Innovation Established Researcher category for exceptional contribution to Anglia Ruskin University’s ambitions in November 2021. Dr Butt has designed and developed several new manufacturing systems to various technology readiness levels to produce plastic, metal, and composite products using different automation principles and programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python). His research in these areas has been published extensively in reputed international journals with 37 publications since 2015. He has also provided consultancies to several national/international businesses and led several knowledge exchange activities. Dr Butt’s current research focuses on the development of digital twins for additive manufacturing systems to enhance their performance using data-driven models and machine learning algorithms.
